Q & A with Jonny Moseley

Few names in winter sports, are as renown, respected and revered as Jonny Moseley. He rose to super stardom by winning the Olympic gold medal in Nagano, but even without that accolade his is one of the greatest careers in sports. He won 17 world cup titles and 9 in one year. His career did not after he stopped competing, but morphed into a spectacular television personality. He has been seen hosting MTV's Real World/Road Rules for 3 years, he has hosted Saturday Night Live, been a correspondent for the Tonight Show and worked for CBS, CSTV, HGTV and Fox Sports Net. Jonny was recently in our Pacific Palisades offices and we caught up with him.

Who is you favorite athlete in another sport?

Kelly slater - surfing, models, music - I mean this guy kills it.

If you had to live in another country, where would it be?

Italy food the med and good skiing nearby.

When are you going to have "Baby Jack" slide down a mountain?

When he begs!

A lot of athletes credit the oddest moments as their favorite accomplishment. Was the gold medal the apex for Jonny Moseley or was their something else?

Yes it was although hosting Saturday Night Live was not bad either.

Do you ski with Malia?

Yes... Shes' got skillz, but baby jack has her a bit busy right now.

Obviously there is a lot of travel in the ski business. How are you balancing the baby, the wife and the travel?

My wife does everything... They come visit me every ten days or so.

Where is your favorite place to ski?

Steamboat and squaw.

What are you favorite pieces of gear?

Head mojo 90's skis and and my dakine bronco gloves..... Love my seirus le masque face mask too.

Outside of "Air It Out With Jonny Moseley," what is next for Jonny Moseley?

Host show "props" for cartoon network then collegiate nationals for CBS. Right now I'm on my way to Steamboat for the spring last day blowout and some shooting for Warren Miller.
