Nate is a snowboard cross specialist to the bone. He lives for speed and is known to go all-out in every event he participates in. Most recently, he won his fourth consecutive Winter X-Games gold medal in snowboard cross, having to come from behind for the victory. The week after that, he won a World Cup event before finishing out the season with four World Cup top 10 finishes.

Nate was born and raised in northern Idaho and was shredding the slopes of Schweitzer Mountain by the time he was eight-years-old. He was inspired to become a professional when he watched the classic snowboarding movie "Critical Condition."

He is also a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan thanks to his mom and dad, who grew up in Ohio.
