Peter Fill is an all-around skier competing in the downhill, super G, giant slalom, special slalom, and combined. During the 2006 and 2007 season, he became the first Italian skier since Alberto Tomba to finish among the leaders of the World Cup. On March 21, 2007, he became the third Italian skier to win in different disciplines (two times in super G and one time in giant slalom.)

In February 2009, he won the silver medal in the super G during the World Championships in Val d'Isere. Peter now claims a total of nine World Cup podium appearances. These include one victory, four second-place finishes, and four third-places finishes.
