I'm Kendra Wilson, creator of ProjectSnowskate.com.  With Project Snowskate, I'm trying to bring snowskating to the forefront of the snow sports industry.  I'm bringing attention to snowskate companies, athletes, events, technology, etc.

For me, snowskating is the most fun way to ride snow, and I want to share that with people.    Right now, snowskating is still very misunderstood, if not unknown. Some resorts don't allow snowskating citing that it is unsafe or not covered by their insurance.  However, resorts that have really looked into the issue have found that snowskating is just as safe as other accepted snow sports and that there is no insurance issue. 

My goal is for snowskating to become so visible that all resorts take a second look at their policies.  I know that once they do, they will find no reason to restrict access to snowskaters.
