10 Day Powder Forecast

Posted By: The Ski Channel on April 3, 2012 3:12 am

The Front Southern Front Range of Colorado will see 8-15 inches of snow tonight primarily along the Eastern Divide however Cuchara resort (Can someone tell me if that resort is open).  Unfortunately most snow will be too far South and East of most of the major Colorado resorts.

Snow will redevelop by Tuesday morning in the Northwest (OR, WA) and continue light to moderate through Wednesday morning with fairly high snow levels and warmer temperatures. Colder air will filter in by Thursday with additional light to moderate snow through Friday. The Sierra will see 4-8 inches Tuesday night into Wednesday (Decent low snow level) which will migrate to the Wasatch  and Tetons as it weakens considerably by Thursday night. Light snow is likely over both mountain ranges by Friday morning however unfortunately nothing worth the chase.

THE CHASE?   SOUTHEAST COLORADO TONIGHT AND PACIFIC NORTHWEST FOR MARGINAL CHASE CRITERIA TUESDAY-THURSDAY

Long Term:

Next week looks like high pressure takes hold of most of the inter- mountain West however there is a hint of a large storm moving across the Northern Rockies of WY, UT, MT, CO by April 14th ).

Please keep Powderchasers alive if you have not already donated please consider helping me out to recoup web costs and allow me to continue to bring deep snow to your eyes, and hopefully that add up to deep face shots!  The donate link is below and your help is much appreciated!
