Bloopers Show FAQ

What do I send?

It is recommended that you make a copy of what you are sending and then send the original source material cued to the part that is compelling.  You will need your Ownership Release Form, Personal Release Form and Screener Form as well.  You can send (videocassette, DV, DVD or any other format.)  You may send multiple clips at the same time.

What wont you accept?
Any video that looks like the participants exposed themselves or others to danger that is out of the ordinary and for the purpose of getting on television will not be accepted.  We are looking for people to come up with compelling moments and we are looking to shine a spotlight on incredible moments that people capture, but we are not looking for people to get hurt and we are not looking for people to expose themselves to unusual risk.  Anything that even remotely looks like it was set up to get on television or The Ski Channel media properties and involves abnormally high risk will not be accepted.

Will I get my submission back?
Once we receive your submission, it becomes property of The Ski Channel. Please make additional copies for yourself.  We will not be able to give them back.

What are you looking for?
We are looking for any compelling footage.  It could be inspirational, amazing, humorous or anything else that would be compelling to watch.  We are not looking for anything where people purposely expose themselves to abnormally too much danger.

How will I know if my clip is going to get on television?
There are no guarantees that your clip will make it, but to find out – watch The Ski Channel all the time.  Clips could literally take years before they make it on.  ie.  If we were building a montage of amazing snowmen, we might take a couple of years worth of snowmen clips before we build that montage
.
