Manifesto

I hung out with Olympic athletes.  I spoke with them.  I took pictures of them.  I know them now, and they know me.  I partied with the CEO of Mammoth, a giant man named Rusty, and a gorgeous 55 year old woman who has run the PR dept at MM for 35 years.  She's rubbed elbows with everyone.  I got hit on by attractive men.  I got hit on by an attractive woman.  I pissed a lot of people off.  I drove home an extremely wealthy woman in near white out conditions on an icy road at night. I hugged a large Swedish woman I barely knew named Jetta.  I drank and sang and cried (mostly during my meditations).  Nothing, NOTHING compared to my 30 second chat with Melissa Rivers, who treated me like an old friend.

Oh yeah, and I learned to ski and it was awesome.  Really awesome.  But watching Mel do a live promo shot for The Ski Channel and then having her talk to me about producing her 'after the Oscar's red carpet' show with her mom (Joan Rivers) was far and away the happiest moment of my weekend up at Mammoth Mountain, Ca.

Don't ask me why.  I just love Joan Rivers.
