Crystal Mountain Reopens After Road Closure

Crystal Mountain, the largest ski area in Washington state, reopened on Sunday after a temporary shutdown caused by mudslides blocking Highway 410, the only access road to the resort.  Massive storms pounded the pacific northwest last week, causing widespread damage.  “On the bright side,” a resort news release noted, “Crystal Mountain has received 24 inches of new snow over the past 3 days, so great conditions await the return of skiers and boarders.”

Right now, Crystal Mountain has free lift tickets for you!  Just bring a buddy of yours that needs to learn to ski, sign them up for a lesson package, and your day of skiing is free.  It’s a great promotion encouraging the expansion of our select tribe of mountain enthusiasts.
