Cross-Country Skiers Battle Attacking Owl

Cue the undulating cello-hum of Jaws, but change the set location to the cross-country ski trails around Bangor, Maine.  And instead of a huge, white mechanical shark, the thing to look out for while raising your heart rate is not a thing, but a big owl.  Cross-country skiers have been warned by City Forester Brian Dugas to be on the look out for a very unhappy owl.   At least the ornery and territorial owl won’t munch you in half.  Instead, the owl swoops down from above, talons outstretched, and smacks unsuspecting cross-country skiers on the head.  So far there have been eight attacks resulting in only minor scratches, none requiring stitches.  When Nature Attacks, Volume 4, isn’t that in production for Fox?
