Winter Storm Results: Alta

Posted By: Zeke Piestrup on March 10, 2009 5:00 pm

A winter storm plowed through northern Utah on Monday night dropping the cherished white stuff from the sky.  Skiers rejoiced at Alta, where two feet of fresh snow awaited those ready to attack it on Tuesday morning after the obligatory phone call of "Sorry boss, I’m feelin’ a bit on the sick side."

Employee absences were also reported to be high in these areas: Solitude (26 inches), Brighton (25 inches), Snowbird (18 inches), and The Canyons (16 inches).  March Gladness comes in the form of late season storms.  We bow to your generosity, Mother Nature.
