Winter Storm Results! Mt. Baker, WA

Snow storms in mid-March and beyond are like getting Christmas gifts in January.  We skiers and boarders are much less critical of their totality, since any unexpected snow gift late in the season is appreciated.  Mt. Baker in Washington has piled up five feet of fresh snow since Saturday morning.  Five feet!  Although this is nothing new for the Whatcom County resort.  Mt. Baker holds the world record of snowfall in one season.  Ponder 1,140 inches…  That’s 95 feet of snow!  This is what 95 feet of Legos look like.

Right now, Mt. Baker has a ton of deals on condos, cabins, vacation homes, and cozy bed & breakfast joints.  Five feet of new snow in March?  All praise due the Snow Gods!
