Still Open Oregon Ski Resorts

Skid Row, the hair metal band of yesteryear, sang “I still remember you.”  Well, in Oregon this weekend, you still have a chance to make new ski memories, rather than simply remembering old ones.  Get up there while you still can, mountain man!

Mt. Bachelor.  Daily tickets are only $45 through the closing date of May 17.  Saturday there’s a Mt. Bachelor Free Ride Event, a head-to-head jib off and ollie comp.  Two identical box features with one competitor moving on and the other voted off the island!

Timberline.  It’s the third year for Timberline’s signature event, West Coast Session.  A four-day event with a host of world’s top young park skiers.  Print up coupons at the resort’s site for big discounts on tickets (up to $20).

Mt. Hood Skibowl.  America’s largest night skiing area will be open until 10pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

Mt. Hood Meadows.  The third annual Pond Skim at Mt. Hood Meadows will be this Saturday with the winner receiving a round trip vacation for two to Hawaii.  Still some slots available for sign-up online, but you better act quickly.

Open Resorts This Weekend in: California, Colorado, Oregon, Utah, New England
