Final Weekend for East Coast Skiing: Sugarbush, Killington, Jay Peak

Coming out of the East bracket, the final three resorts in operation this weekend are Sugarbush, Killington, and Jay Peak.  With nearly 24 feet of snow falling on Vermont resorts, these final three are primed for one final blow-out weekend.  Amen!

Sugarbush.  This weekend the resort will re-open with $39 lift tickets, $29 for juniors.  Nearby Mt. Ellen pass holders can ski for $29.  Bring your bump skis, as Stein’s Run, seviced by the Valley House double chair, will be servicing expert terrain.

Jay Peak.  Lift tickets are also $39 for adults, $29 for juniors, and those buying a ticket for Saturday receive a free lift ticket for Sunday, and will be entered into a drawing for a ’09-10 Jay Peak season pass.  BBQ and live music will be happenin’ at the Jet all weekend.

Killington.  The only one of the three that continues with daily operations, Killington calls an end to an incredibly successful season this Saturday.  No Sunday action at Killington, but the Superstar Express Quad will be in operation Saturday from 9am to 4pm.  Any ’08-’09 season pass from any resort will buy you a $39 lift ticket.
