Just when you thought it was over… The ski season, that is. But we didn’t hear any fat ladies sing.

The U.S. Ski Team athletes are back at it, and the 2010/2011 season has officially begun. Several of the skiers have started physical testing at the new Center of Excellence training facility in Park City, UT, and today, the men’s World Cup racers are headed to Mammoth in sunny California. Arnold would be proud. Heck, anyone would be proud. Our boys will be on snow tomorrow!

“We are looking forward to a good relaxed camp where we can focus on getting back to the basics and fundamentals of our skiing,” says ‘A’ Team technical skier Tim Jitloff.

The athletes will train for about two weeks and then head back to Park City for more grueling workouts and testing. Stay tuned for more updates including videos. The Ski Channel will be on hand to document their progress through the summer.
