All is Well for U.S. Ski Team Men in Mammoth

The U.S. Ski Team men are still in Mammoth, and it seems like their 2009/2010 season is off to a stellar start. “The camp has been a success so far,” says tech skier Tim Jitloff. “The weather has been cooperating and the snow seems to be improving each day as the colder temperatures and winds roll through Mammoth.”

Word is the coaches have had to salt the snow first thing in the morning, as the temp’s have hit the high 70’s, but the guys have definitely been able to get solid hours in on snow. Working with a three days on, one day off schedule, the men are still trucking until they leave on Tuesday. “The atmosphere is relaxed but it’s been productive,” Jitloff says.

No word yet on what they think about the American Idol results. Kris Allen was a shocker.
