This is the first in a 93 part series on where the uber cool choose to park their Roosters in the mountains.

Today we will start with Jackson Hole and Aspen.  No word on what Harrison Ford is skiing these days, but the brother is digging Jackson Hole.  He has a rockin pad and loves to cook.  A hop, skip and a jump down the road and you find Dick Cheney.  One neighbor said they saw Jeb Bush visiting.  Sandra Bullock also has her mountain rig in Jackson Hole.

Jackson Hole has a new golf community and none other than Tiger Woods bought a place behind the gates.

This past season, the worlds best cliff hucking haven also played host to numerous other celebs ski wannabees including Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, Matthew McConaughey (no word on whether he skied topless or not / cue Matt Damon’s impersonation) and Calista Flockhart.

On the Aspen front of course Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are practically locals and every shopkeeper can tell you stories.   The Hawns, I mean Russell’s have lived there for over 25 years when they’re not at their main resiidence in Pacific Palisades (home  of http//:www.theskichannel.com.)  Melanie Griffith and her Latin lover Antonio Banderas also are Aspen regulars and have a house in Woody Creek.

Kevin Costner has a ranch in Aspen and is a part time resident.  Mischa Barton, Jerry Seinfeld, Michelle Pheiffer, Mike Douglass, Michael Eisner, Felicity Huffman, Dean Cain, Jim Wiatt and David and Victoria Beckham have all recently been there.

Movie Mogul Peter Gubers used to have a place there, but has supposedly sold and hasn’t shown up of late.

What next Sun Valley for Arnold?

Back at you shortly!
