When Warren Miller parked his tear drop trailer in the River Run Parking Lot in 1946, he wasn’t planning on creating an entire industry.  Now there are more action sports films and film tours than you can shake a stick at.  Trust us when we tell you.  Sun Valley/Ketchum had always been a playground for the cool.

Ernest Hemingway completed “For Whom the Bell Tolls” while staying in Sun Valley.  Gary Cooper, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, Lucille Ball, Marilyn Monroe and the Kennedy’s all made it their hang back in the day.  But fast forward to the 2000′s and it is a bastien of every sector of celebrity.  If you want to spot a Thespian, a wordsmith, a songster, a ball striker and iron pumper or a Governator – you can find them all in Sun Valley

Tom Hanks and his lovely wife Rita had some legal issues in 2003 with their sprawling estate pad with tennis court.  The tennis court might come in handy as Grand Slam Champion Mats Willander lives in the Valley.  Tom and other actor buddies, Ashton Kutcher, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Clint Eastwood and Sylvestor Stallone all take part in the annual Sun Valley local theatre production or “Roots” every year at Christmas.

Locals Peter Cetera and Steve Miller handle all the music at the theatre and can drive themselves home.  If you need some self help, then go to the Sun Valley Robeks in the early morning and hook up with Tony Robbins.  Maybe you decide that you need a loan and don’t want to go to the Sun Valley Bank and Trust – Steve Wynn and Mohamed al-Fayed live in the Valley.  Walter Annenberg lived there when he was alive, but I think they have spent all their money, because they have their name on everything.
