World Cup moguls star and former NFL player Jeremy Bloom is hosting what’s now known as the Jeremy Bloom Youth Football Festival this Saturday, which will be held at Loveland Park in Northern Colorado. So far, over 300 kids have signed up, and coaches will include former college stars like University of Colorado quarterback Joel Klatt, University of Northern Colorado defensive backs coach Greg Gebhardt, UNC defensive back Chris Gebhardt, and CU linebacker Sean Tufts. Some pros will be on hand, too, like Denver Broncos tight end Daniel Graham and Washington Redskins’ Reed Doughty.

“We wanted to create a football camp in the Northern Colorado community to teach (youth) all the lessons we’ve learned,” Bloom told the Fort Collins Coloradoan. “If you can teach these things to a young kid at a young age, it can help them exponentially in their growth.”

Campers will range in age form 8 to 14, and will have the opportunities to learn different skills throughout the day. Bloom will be teaching special teams’ skills, like kick and punt returns and catching.

Last year’s session brought in about 150 kids, so this year the numbers have already doubled—a testament to the greatness of the event.
