Lindsey Van and Company may appeal

Triple football field jumper Lindsey Van and her cohorts are contemplating the recent decision in Canadian courts that although the girls are being discriminated against, the courts do not have the authority to act.  The original suit asked to either let the girls jump or take jumping out of the Olympics altogether.

Fifteen girls filed suit including World Champion Lindsey Van and Jessica Jerome.  Deedee Corradini, President of Women’s Ski Jumping USA has expressed frustration that the girls won 90% of the suit, but got 0% of the result they wanted.  Corradini said they will make a decision on an appeal by the end of the week.  Certainly time is dwindling.
