Weather experts on the East Coast are predicting that this summers cooler than usual temperatures will lead to a very cold and snowy winter.

A number of factors including an El Nino condition in the Pacific and volcanic activity around the world have made this summer colder than normal.

Accuweather said Wednesday cool summers along the East Coast are usually followed by cold winters and heavy snowfall.  The East Coast Resorts set records galore this year for skiier visits and even revenue as many East Coast hill sliders stayed closer to home.

A huge snowfall would be a huge windfall for those ski resorts trying to recondition skiers to stay closer to home.
