Tiger Woods out of the British Open should crash Tahoe Golf Tournament and bump Tony Romo

Forget tuning in to your TV this weekend trying to catch a glimpse of Tiger Woods as he missed the cut at Turnberry. Tiger’s two round total of 5 over 145 at was just one stroke away from moving into the third round of the British Open. Tom Watson has recaptured the lead along with Steve Marino. Both are currently 5 under.

Perhaps Tiger could catch a quick flight to Lake Tahoe and crash the Celebrity Golf Tournament. He could join Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, John Elway, Dan Marino, Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, Bode Miller and fill out the GOAT (greatest of all time) fraternity. Now if they can just get Roger Fedrer in there as well. It would be great to see all of those people in the same blackjack or poker table. Who would win? Wait a second no poker as Daniel Negreanu would have an unfair advantage.

With the modified Stableford Points System Tiger Woods could probably sneak in there and bump Tony Romo from the top of the leaderboard.

Current standings as of 7/17/09 2:30PM PDT

1 – Tony Romo
T2 – Trent Dilfer
T2 – Grant Fuhr
T4 – Dan Quinn
T4 – Billy Joe Tolliver
T4 – Rick Rhoden
