Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, John Paul Jones Supergroup Coming to a Ski Movie Near You

Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Foo Fighters.  Throw it in a blender and our ears can only wonder what will come out.  Dave Grohl, frontman for the Foo Fighters and drummer for Nirvana, has teamed up with Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones, and the great Josh Homme of Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age fame.  The as-yet-to-be-named trio have been laying down tracks at a recording studio in Los Angeles.

Considering that every possible Biggie Smalls track and remix has been used up in countless ski film segments, ski film makers should be lining-up to license tracks from the trio.  No word as of yet on who will be handing vocal duties.  Grohl will be handling drums, as he did on Queens’ 2002 album Songs for the Deaf.  Josh Homme (pictured right) of course will be handing guitar, because no one handles the guitar like Josh Homme.  Rounding out the line-up, John Paul Jones reprises his role of rock god from his Led Zeppelin days and he’ll be playing bass.
