Tanning Salons = Cancer, New Studies Show

The World Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer released a study on the use of sunlamps and said they are as carcinogenic as asbestos, arsenic, radium, and cigarettes.  Well at least they’re not as bad as nuclear waste!

Twenty scientists from nine different countries performed the study.  They found the cancer risk increases 75% for folks who use tanning beds before the age of 30.  This news means you might want to drop by your local tanning salon.  Not to pick up a dose of cancer, but to wish the employees well.  The era of the tanning salon is over.
