The Burton Fish Snowboard

The Burton Fish snowboard is a fabulous deck for riding powder. With its 30mm taper, super wide nose, short mini swallow tail, and 3 inch back of center, it’s super responsive and adjust effortlessly to deeper snow depth so there is no more burning up your back leg to keep the board afloat. Even though it’s made for Powder and not an all-mountain board, it still handles pretty good on the groomers and won’t hold you back on any regular resort days. Nonetheless, in the TREES is where you want to let the Fish loose, turning on a dime while swimming through the trees is why I love the Fish. And if you are caught in a little deep powder “not so snowboarder friendly” flat area, no need to un-strap to wade in deep powder, I’ve wiggle my way even slightly upslope before to reach the next incline with the Fishy…very convenient. So if riding and exploring off the beaten path in deep powder terrain is on the agenda for the day, go Fish…no license required.
