The US Ski and Snowboard Team has announced a new skier to its board of trustees.  Julie Silcock is the co-head of Southwest investment banking for Houlihan Lokey and has been in the industry for 25 years.

She is an avid skier who was formerly the founder, managing director and head of Citigroup Global Market’s Dallas Banking Franchise.  She skis mostly in Vail.

”I am thrilled to be joining this board of trustees that is so passionate about skiing and things we can do to support the Olympic athletes,” said Silcock. “Over the past several years I have developed a strong interest in the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association and am now eager to be even more integrally involved.”

“Julie is an avid skier who has single-handedly energized the Dallas ski community to help support our athletes,” said Bill Marolt, president and CEO of USSA. “We are proud to have her join our board of trustees both for the business background she brings and her enthusiasm for athletes.”

The board is chalked full of uber wealthy, uber philanthropic business leaders and helps raise money for the US teams.
