333: Build Your Own Skis!

Thinking about stacking your quiver for next season? Seriously folks, here’s THE deal: Build your own sticks with 333 Skis. That means, you can select the exact measurements of the tip, under-foot and tail sections, along with the degree of camber. What’s more, you get to design your own graphics for the top sheets.

Michael Lish, a maverick with a mohawk will make your skis by hand in a trailer built from recycled materials. He’s usually parked at Mammoth Mountain, if you happen to be in the area. If not, visit www.333skis.com to place an order.

Lish will construct your skis from Finland Birch, so your skis will be slightly old school sporting a wood core. (Personally, we prefer a wood core!) And here’s perhaps the coolest part: Your own personal pair will run you $333. If for some reason you don’t like them, Lish will back your purchase with a full refund (and provide a two-season warranty).

Lish is also a minimalist, so your skis will be built using only 12 oz of fuel and solar power, which means they’ll leave only a tiny carbon footprint. What’s that mean to you? Sweet, clean tracks next season.
