Female Olympic Ski Jumpers Appeal Exclusion from Games

On November 12 and 13, the female ski jumpers will appeal the decision by the IOC to exclude them from the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. The appeal will be heard in the B.C. Court of Appeals just three months prior to the opening ceremonies. If the court should find in favor of the female jumpers (and we hope they do), that would leave very little time for the Vancouver 2010 Committee to stage the event.

The event organizers are committed to meeting any challenge thrown their way, but they also are worried of the myriad obstacles in putting the event together on such short notice.

Good Luck Ladies!
