Ski Resort To Reopen

Swain Ski Resort in Allegany County found a reprive as the owners of Ski Denton in Potter County, PA will take the resort over with a 2 year lease option to buy deal structure.  Swains winter workforce will not be impacted and may possibly even grow.

Swain had been on the market for some time and has had trouble hitting the numbers of 10 years ago which included about 150,000 skiers visits per year.  Last years numbers were about one third of that.

Under the new arrangement all season passes and ski club contracts will be honored.  Another ski resort sparred.  Skiers rejoice in PA!
