Rush Limbaugh and Karl Rove on Family Guy

Today it was announced that on an episode of next season’s “Family Guy”, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh and former President George W. Bush’s chief strategist Karl Rove will appear. They will play themselves. Hmm. “Family Guy” is such a liberal show…how could they persuade these Republican hard-hitters to make an appearance? Creator and star Seth MacFarlane (who FOX has paid enough money for him to buy every ski resort in the country) explains that “Family Guy tends to be very liberal because it’s written by liberals, so we thought let’s give the other side some face time. So we put it out there to a lot of Republicans – ‘we’re doing this show, who wants in?’ – and we got some bites. I’m sure the reaction from some will be, ‘you monsters, how could you have Karl Rove on your show’” In the episode, the lovable alcoholic dog Brian gets bored with politics due to his contentment with Obama in office. To spice things up, he decides to turn Republican. He interacts with Limbaugh and Rove, and comedy ensues. We can’t wait.
