Don’t Touch My Taco!

Best apres ski meal ever, hands down, no contest! I know food is subjective, but let’s get real and agree on at least one thing above all else. You can argue over the best powder, best steeps, best groomers, best tree to skier ratio. You can argue over who has the best chili, best steak, best foie gras, or best cheese fries. But clearly, anyone with any real experience knows, after a kick-ass day carving turns in whichever way you choose, there is no beating the Asada taco to top off what was already shaping up to be a near perfect day. 

Your legs are rubber, your lips are burnt, your body is low on fluids and salt. You’re on a post bluebird snow day high, and you need fuel and liquid. Get out of those boots, get into some dry duds, and find the best local Taqueria asap. Park your can at the first available seat, and make sure an ice cold cerveza arrives with the chips and homemade salsa. Then order your asada taco’s with a side of black beans and guacamole. Make sure the tacos come in corn tortillas (if your at the right place, that will be your only choice) and order a couple lime wedges as well. Get ready for the sting of the lime with the savory asada, add the beans and guac, toss back with beer and repeat.

You can argue about skis, boards, pancakes, and dog breeds, but let’s agree on this one thing, no contest.
