Squaw celebrates their 60th anniversary this upcoming season!   Standard Films stay true to their big mountain roots, kicking-off the anniversary festivites with latest film “Black Winter”.  The West Coast premiere of “Black Winter” presented by Monster Energy is to be held Friday, September 4th, 2009.

Watch the chronicles of snowboarding unfold.  Before your eyes, riders push the boundaries fulfilling a personal quest while also progressing the sport at any cost.  “Black Winter” introduces international shredders who have somehow escaped  or are just under the media’s radar, until now.  Lonnie Kauk of Mammoth Lakes, Jason Dubois from Quebec City, Halldor Helgason of Iceland, and Torstein Horgmo from Norway are soon to astound us.  This audience lives for out-running avalanches and throwing down mad contest skills.  Please, leave us flabbergasted.  We look forward to it.

Mountain premiere undoubtedly translates to one killer party.  A cash bar will be open during the film and those who stay for the after-party must be 21+ and have valid I.D.  Stick around as the film concludes because a special guest performer will take the stage!

Make sure to check out the “Black Winter” trailer!
