The economic recession has effected millions of people around the world; and, now, its effects have reached British royalty.  Prince Andrew, who is the Duke of York, put a down payment of almost $50,000 to rent a seven-star luxury ski chalet at the royalty-friendly Klosters resort in Switzerland.  However, the entire deposit has been lost because the chalet company he booked though has gone bankrupt.  The chalet sleeps 15, and it is described as having arguably the finest and largest master suite in the Alps, as it has a log fire in the bathroom, as well as the bedroom.  The Prince had booked the chalet for the annual World Economic Forum, which takes place at the neighboring town of Davos.
