U.S. Ski Team Athlete Cody Marshall Continues to Improve

It’s now been just over a month since U.S. Ski Team technical specialist Cody Marshall entered the hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. Marshall suffered a traumatic brain injury when he accidentally fell in Park City. It’s been a slow healing process, but in reality, considering the extent of Marshall’s injuries, the slalom star is doing exceptionally well!

Marshall is currently undergoing physical therapy and rehab (including walks around the hospital halls), and improves daily. He is awaiting surgery to replace the bone flap that was removed from his skull, and currently, there is no date set. Once doctors are sure Marshall is in the perfect condition for the surgery, they will schedule it.

Marshall’s family, including his sister, U.S. Ski Team athlete Chelsea are amazing, and continue to stay by Cody’s side as he recovers. Chelsea recently returned from a training camp in New Zealand, and has been by her brother’s side every minute since.

You can follow Marshall’s progress on www.thinkcody.com, and write comments to him, there. He reads them and enjoys them, so please continue to show your support. (You can also purchase T-shirts on the site, the proceeds of which will go toward Marshall’s medical bills.) Show your favorite slalom skier some love!!!

Go Cody, Go!!!
