All for Skiing and Snowboarding for All in Queenstown, NZ

Posted By: The Ski Channel on August 22, 2009 2:37 pm

All should have the opportunity to experience the sport of skiing and snowboarding.  On Saturday, September 5, The Remarkables will host an Adaptive Program Open Day in Queenstown, New Zealand.

The Remarkables encourage anyone with a disability to register for this adventure.  Upon registration, participants will receive a free lift pass, lessons, equipment, and the endless support from volunteers.  “Open Day” invites full-time caregivers and immediate family members of participants by offering 50% off on lift passes or tubing.

Register in advance to ensure that your loved one receives the appropriate support.  Also, register soon because priority will be given to people from Cromwell, Wakatipu, and Southland areas who are experiencing the thrill of snow sports for the first time.
