“The Meeting” is set for it’s fifth annual discussion September 24-27 in Aspen.

Are you privy to the infamous convergence of the ski and snowboard film industry known as “The Meeting”?  World renowned athletes, top filmmakers, sponsors and various media hubs meet in Aspen for this pre-season event.  Everyone gathers to watch and examine the latest movies, plus  many attend private sessions with guest speakers deliberating the state of the industry.

On Thursday, Sept. 24, The Meeting will be kicked off by the seventh annual NEPSA Video Awards at the Wheeler Opera House. The Teton Gravity Research film “Re: Session” will be on Friday, Sept. 25 at the Sundeck on the top of Aspen Mountain.   Featuring Gretchen Bleiler and Torah Bright, “Stance” by JMills Ent. “will reexamine women’s snowboarding from the inside out” according to a press release from Aspen Skiing Co.

Chris Davenport is everywhere and continues to be loved by everyone.  Somehow Davenport found time to  film  with Matchstick Productions latest film  “In Deep”.  MSP’s film also pays tribute to skier Shane McConkey, who died in a base suit jumping accident this year.  Check out the trailer below!
