Roger Federer our favorite skiing tennis player and ski chalet owner in the Swiss village of Valbella, which is part of the Lenzerheide-Valbella ski resort area did not end up getting #3 seed Rafael Nadal on his side of the draw for this years US Open Tennis Championships in New York starting on Monday.

The lifelong skier and greatest tennis player in the history of the game is gunning for his 16th Grand Slam Title and now has Novak Djokovic and Andy Roddick on his side of the draw.  Federer and Roddick played one of the most epic tennis matches in the history of the game in the finals of Wimbledon this year where the Swiss star was extended to 16-14 in the fifth set.

Nadal who was #1 in the world, but got passed up during a string of injuries, could play Andy Murray in the semi-final and starts off aganst Richard Gasquet a former top 10 player who tested positive for cocaine, but pled that he was kissing a girl who took cocaine and that got him off.  We will be hiring Richard for all The Ski Channel’s traffic violation negotiations.

Federer will start off against American upstart Devin Britton.  The Swiss Mister just had beautiful twin daughters.
