Ted Kennedy Went to Idaho to Ski and Campaign for JFK

The late, great Senator Edward (Ted) Kennedy was a frequent visitor to Idaho, where he loved to ski whenever possible. He was also political whenever possible, and he used his connections and relationships in Idaho to campaign for his older brother John Fitzgerald Kennedy in 1960. Ted was in charge of handling the campaign in the Western States, and he quickly and easily put himself in the good graces of influential citizens of Idaho. Senator Edward Kennedy was a tough-as-nails fighter, in the Senate and personally, battling that cancer for a good long while. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
