A sore knee was not going to keep Jimmy Cochran from snagging third at the New Zealand Winter Games giant slalom.   Cochran claimed third coming .03 seconds out of second.

The United States was well represented as three additional members of the U.S. Ski Team made it into the top ten.  Tommy Ford was right behind Cochran with fourth, Jake Zamansky took sixth, and Nolan Kasper took tenth.

The inaugrual New Zealand Winter Games conclude on Sunday.  The U.S. Ski Team will compete in the slalom event starting Cochran, Ford, Kasper, Thomas Biesemeyer, David Chodounsky, and Paul McDonald.
