The Race to the Top of Vermont

Today will mark the the running of the second annual Race to the Top of Vermont. The event allows walkers, runners, and mountain bikers to participate in one race on one course, staged with different start times for each group. The race covers 4.3 miles up the east flank of Mount Mansfield and climbs 2,550 feet to the summit. The race offers the athletes amazing views of three states, Quebec, and Lake Champlain. Life is good in the mountains!
