After seven long weeks of hospitalization for a traumatic brain injury, U.S. Ski Team athlete Cody Marshall has been cleared to return home! The slalom specialist had surgery last week to replace a bone flap which was removed earlier last month to facilitate healing.

Marshall and crew are overjoyed at being able to leave the hospital, and look forward to rehabbing at home! Marshall will still have to return to the hospital for special TBI rehabilitation, but only for outpatient services. His family will be on hand at home to help him recover with a strict schedule. Marshall will also perform low-impact activities with U.S. Ski Team trainers at the Center of Excellence in Park City.

The new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art physical therapy equipment, so really for Marshall, there’s no place like home. Check out Marshall’s Facebook group for more updates, and to continue to show him your support. Go Cody go!
