Throw Down with U.S. Ski Team Athletes at the World Cup Dreams Hootenanny in Park City

Tickets are currently on sale for the World Cup Dreams Foundation’s Park City Hootenanny, which will be held at the Hi Ute Ranch on October 10th. Your $75 donation will help support a World Cup ski racer during a time when funding has never been so scarce. (Did we also mention that it’s an Olympic year?)

World Cup Dreams was founded by former U.S. Ski Team athletes Bryon Friedman and Erik Schlopy, and is designed to help other skiers pursue and achieve their athletic goals. This summer the guys hosted a fundraiser in Mt. Hood, Oregon, which offered the general public opportunities to ski and learn from a dozen current U.S. Ski Team stars.

The Hootenanny will be a little bit different, though, but just as enticing. This time, fans can join their favorite Ski Team athletes in mechanical bull riding and horseshoe throwing (and of course learn their requisite tricks). Western wear is encouraged (Halloween—the best holiday, ever—can come early), and there will be a raffle, silent auction, live music and a tasty barbeque to boot.

World Cup Dreams plans to fill the barn, so get your tickets early. And stay tuned for more events. The Foundation is planning another fundraiser in Vail, on November 13th. Check back for details.
