Jamie Madrid can’t wait for the snow to fall at Mountain High Ski Resort in Southern California, she intends to spend as many days as possible on the slopes, with her whole family. Jamie won her age group in slope-style at the US Snowboarding Association National Championships in 2007. She recently competed at the S3 Supergirl Snowboard Rail Jam in Venice Beach over the weekend. Her whole family participates in the sport as Jamie’s father, Robert Madrid, took the sport up as a way to bring the family together. Now, all four children compete while the parents volunteer at the events. As we know very well, nothing is better for family’s than mountain sports!
