In an emotional public message, world champion downhill skier Erik Schinegger offered his support and empathy regarding Caster Semanya’s current controversy.

Erika Schinegger, now Erik, was favored to win three gold medals at the 1968 Olympics before a medical test determined Erika was chromosomally male.

Since the traumatic experince, Erik has completed medical treatment and now resides in Austria with his wife and daughter. Yesterday, Erik offered a public message of support to Caster, whos full name is actually an anagram of “Yes, a secret man.” The message describes the traumatic agony of her sexual identity and dominance in the downhill skiing world. Erik professes: “My heart goes out ot her. Even today, there are people giggling behind my back.”

Soon after completing surgery to move his internal testes and penis to the outside, Erik confesses, “The first thing I did was buy a suit and a Porsche. My first sexual experience was amazing. I lived like a plyaboy after that.”

Hopefully, the controversy surrounding Caster Semanya will subside and she will be able to rebuild her life.
