Police officials returned to the property of alleged kidnappers Phillip and Nancy Garrido yesterday to search for clues in connection with two other kidnappings–Michaela Garecht in 1988 and Ilene Misheloff in 1989.  Today, they announced that they have found bones on their property, the same property where South Lake Tahoe resident Jaycee Lee Dugard and her daughters were kept.  They also said that more bones were found on the property that is adjacent to their home.

Lt. Chris Orrey of the Hayward Police Department said, “We have located what appear to be bones on both properties.  We can’t tell at this point if those bones are human or animal.” Orrey also said that the evidence found has been sent to a lab to be analyzed.  Investigators will be back on the property on Thursday to go through more debris.  The Garridos have been charged with 29 felony counts in relation to the kidnapping of Dugard and have pleaded not guilty.
