When it comes to charity, it’s great to see people go way above and beyond to donate to a great cause.  Last night at the Toronto Film Festival, the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, donated herself to an auction for the amFar Aids Organization when a one-week ski trip at an exclusive ski resort went up for bidding. The starting bid was 22,000 pounds, which is about $36,200, and then one bidder said he would pay 85,000 pounds, which is almost $140,000 if the Duchess would go on the trip as well.  Ferguson promised that she would go, so amFar and the bidder were both big winners.
