Mt. Bachelor Wraps Up 1.25 Million in Improvements

Mt. Bachelor Ski Area, in central Oregon, has been busy this summer. The Ski Resort has invested 1.25 million in improvements to an already stellar mountain as they prepare for the 2009 / 2010 winter season. The projects are both on the mountain and in guest services. Mountain improvements include upgrades to the resorts Northwest Express quad lift, snow grooming, snowmobiles, and track setters for improved trail and run grooming, as well as new avalanche control equipment.

It doesn’t end there. The Mt. Bachelor Snowsports School is offering new programs aimed it kids and adults in an effort to increase overall participation in skiing and snowboarding. The mountain has also re-designed it’s trail maps and markers with new artwork to help quests better navigate the mountain. Mt. Bachelor is also offering a unique pricing scale for lift tickets this season. The price of a single adult day pass will very from $49, $59, or $69 depending on weather conditions and available terrain. Hat’s off to Mt. Bachelor!
