The longest standing member of the US Snowboarding Team, Tommy Czeschin, is calling it quits this season. Tommy, a resident of Mammoth Lakes, CA, has several businesses to run now, including the snowboard company Humanity. He’s also planning on spending more time with his constantly growing family. Throughout his time on the team, Tommy made the Olympic team in 2002, was on six World Championship teams, won the World Cup six times, and won silver and bronze in the X-Games, among other accolades. Jeremy Forster, U.S. Snowboarding Program Director, had this to say about Czeschin: ”Tommy has been such a huge part of U.S. Snowboarding for over 10 years, and is one of the most accomplished athletes in competitive snowboarding. It’s awesome to see him start up Crowley Wake along with all his other projects”. Crowley Wake is Tommy’s wakesurf company. We’ll miss you Tommy. Keep on riding and enjoy your wonderful family.
