The new $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium debuts tonight on NBC Sunday Night Football where the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants. The NFL’s latest and greatest venue is loaded with amenities that make it worthy of a destination trip. You may even compare it to a day at a ski resort. The ticket prices are even in line with lift ticket prices. Let’s take a look.

A single game ticket goes for $59. That’s roughly the average price of a one day lift ticket at a ski resort.

Season tickets for Dallas Cowboys home games start at $1200 and go up to $5000. Regular price for season passes at major ski resorts is around $1200 unless you take advantage of deals such as the Epic Pass which runs at $599. The Ski Utah Gold Pass goes for $3400.

Oh and a glass/cup of beer….$8. About the same.

Are you starting to get the picture? Watch a Cowboys football game on Sunday or go skiing-snowboarding? As far as cost is concerned, it’s probably a wash.

Go Cowboys!!!
