REJOICE: First Snow of the Season Hits Rockies

I could cry with happiness, but I don’t want to make the snow slushy.  The first snowstorms of the not-yet-winter season have hit the Rockies.  Up to four inches of snow is expected today at elevations over 7,500 feet.

Summer’s been riding quite the winning streak, but her reign is soon to end!  Soon enough, friends, we shall all be flying down a mountain.

Photo above is Copper Mountain, below Breckenridge (both courtesy of their respected mountains.  Respected more than ever when they’re covered in white!)
