Austrian Skier Marlies Schlid To Miss Early Giant Slalom Races

According to the AP, Austrian skier Marlies Schlid will miss the early season giant slalom races because the legg that she broke in a crash last year in Soelden, Austria is still not healed fully. 

She hopes to return to the World Cup circuit on November 14th in Levi, Finland. 

The 28-year old Austrian has had a brilliant career winning 20 World Cup races including the 2007 and 2008 Slalom Titles and the 2007 Super-Combi Title.
